🌸 抜粋（節分・前日譚 ver.｜JP & EN）⸻🇯🇵 日本語（Digest）節分の少し前。鬼役をどうするか、恵方巻きを予約したか、そんな確認の会話をしている。毎年やっていることなのに、なぜか毎年、少しだけ真剣で、少しだけ、ゆるい。節分の二日前。「念のため」の確認をしながら、なんとなく嫌な予感もしていた。そして、ジャンケン。結果は――去年と同じ。また、わたしが鬼役。行事は変わらないけれど、こういうやり取りがあるから、ちゃんと“今年の節分”になる。⸻🇺🇸 English (Before Setsubun – Gentle Digest)A little before Setsubun.We’re checking things —who will play the demon,whether the ehomaki was already reserved.We do this every year,yet somehow it always feelsboth serious and relaxed at the same time.Two days before Setsubun.Just a “quick check,”and a small sense of déjà vu.Then comes rock-paper-scissors.The result —the same as last year.I’m the demon again.The tradition doesn’t change,but moments like thisare what make it this year’s Setsubun.

「受験」って言葉が、だんだん現実味を帯びてくる頃。まだ先の話だと思ってたのに、気づいたら、まわりの空気が少しずつ変わっている。そんな話を、放課後の教室でしていた。The word “entrance exam”starts to feel real little by little.It still feels far away,but somehow,the air around us is already changing.This was a conversationwe had after school.
